Bob Arnett Email Bob Bob Arnett has enjoyed 12 years as a yacht broker with Chesapeake Yacht Sales. Bob and his wife Carol (CYS sales assistant) began their boating life sailing on Swift Creek Reservoir in Chesterfield County, VA. Over the next two years, they quickly moved up to progressively larger boats until they bought a 32’ boat in Deltaville, VA. The beauty of the Chesapeake Bay and the variety of boating opportunities in Deltaville and destinations beyond convinced them to stay. They now enjoy a home in the Deltaville area while still maintaining a residence in Midlothian close to their sons and grandchildren. After 25 years in the business world, Bob decided to pursue his passion for boating in a way that would offer the greatest exposure possible to boating – yacht sales. “Since joining Chesapeake Yacht Sales, I find we have less time for boating ourselves. But the day-to-day involvement with customers who share the same passion for boating more than makes up for it. Yacht sales has become much more of a year ‘round business, and I find myself on the water performing sea trials every month of the year.” For over a decade, Bob has enjoyed representing several new boat lines at CYS and helping thousands of sailboat and powerboat customers realize their own dreams.
